A spiritual director is a person with whom you talk, usually once a month,
about how your spiritual journey is progressing.

The term spiritual director is a traditional one that does not mean
someone who decides a direction for you.

A spiritual director is experienced in helping you sort through ideas and
feelings about the spiritual path of your own choosing.

In sessions with a spiritual director, you get to step back regularly, look
at the last month of your life from a spiritual perspective and focus your
intention for the month ahead.

This monthly spiritual counseling is frequently done by telephone and
can also be in person.
